Submission Guidelines

  • Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis

  • When emailing, your manuscript must be accompanied by a brief abstract for your article

  • Writing which has not previously been published is prioritised

  • In submitting a manuscript, The Legal Eye accepts accompanying photos from authors which can be used when publishing the writing

  • We aim to reply to all proposals within 1-2 weeks

  • Accepted papers are published online shortly after acceptance

  • All authors are accredited in the publication by name

Writing Guidelines

  • We accept articles regarding legal developments or topics from all regions

  • Manuscripts can take the following forms: research, review, op-ed, or case study

  • Articles should be 700-2000 words in length

  • Sources must be cited correctly under APA or MLA (legal sources under OSCOLA)

  • When writing please employ a respectful and relatively formal tone
